The Dragon Slayer Greatsword

Berserk Redesign. Godot, the blacksmith once lived in a castle city far from his current abode. He crafted ornate and extravagant armour and weaponry for the wealthy and upper class. One day, his king sent out a proclamation for all of his servants to forge for him "a blade that could kill a dragon". Entrusted with this task, Godot, a dedicated and skilled craftsman, took the request to heart. Growing weary of the frivolous and restrictive nature of his work for his wealthy and elegant clientele, he crafted the monstrously oversized and unusable Dragon Slayer Greatsword. The massive hunk of sharpened steel was brought to the king. Seeing it's crude craftsmanship and impracticality, the king threatened to end Godot's life. Godot fled in fear for his life with any belonging he could bring in a cart. The Dragon Slayer was discovered many years later by Guts in Godot's warehouse after a battle with a roaming apostle. Guts wielded this mountain of steel with ease. The sheer weight and momentum of it can damage even the most powerful demons. Guts carries The Dragon Slayer as his chosen instrument for the melody of revenge and retribution he shall unleash upon the world of demons.
